- To be a member of this fabulous supper club, you must be willing to cook no matter your skill level. Which brings us to our next guideline...
- The objective here is not (necessarily) to impress anyone with your amazing cooking skills. If anything, this will be an opportunity to gain some of those amazing cooking skills & taste new foods!
- Each hostess/host should get a secure number of guests planning to attend her/his meal, no later than one week prior to the meal. This will help ensure that the hostess/host has enough food & space-->speaking of which...
- The hostess/host is not obligated, by any means, to cook/host in her/his home. As fierce & famished as we are, space can be an issue for all of us. That being said, Mistie & Sasha have gladly agreed to lend their kitchens to any hostesses/hosts who could use the space for whatever reason.
- Any meal should be narrowed down to 2-3 options by the hostess/host one week before the meal. The meal will be voted on (here, on the FF blog) and supper club members will be given 48 hours to vote on what they'd like. Failure to vote within the allotted time will result in being subject to whatever has been chosen by those who voted. Meals need not be grandiose (just try to challenge yourself), however as the hostess/host you have options on what you'd like to do. The options can be viewed here.
- Guests are most certainly invited! Each member is allowed a single "+1", in an effort to provide adequate space & keep numbers low enough for our hostess/host to manage, but high enough to maintain interest.
- Always be encouraging to your hostess! The biggest fear of any cook (after 'burning down your house') is making something that nobody likes & being deemed "a lousy cook". We will be rating the cuisine after each meal to build confidence in our hostess/host & give feedback on what could've been better as well as what was absolutely delicious!
